Starting At $39,770, The 2025 Nissan Ariya Offers 289 Miles Of Range, ProPilot Assist, And Access To 100,000+ Chargers
Nissan has unveiled its 2025 Ariya electric vehicle (EV), introducing several significant advancements that showcases Nissan’s aim to make its EVs more accessible and convenient for everyday drivers, starting with a competitive entry price of $39,770.
The 2025 Nissan Ariya caters to diverse driving needs through its thoughtfully designed powertrain options. The base model features a 66 kWh battery pack capable of traveling up to 216 miles on a single charge. For drivers requiring extended range, the larger 91 kWh battery option delivers up to 289 miles in front-wheel-drive configuration.
The EV’s performance capabilities are particularly impressive in its all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant, featuring Nissan’s e-4ORCE system, which generates 389 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque while maintaining a respectable 272-mile range.
For the interior, Nissan has created an advanced technological ecosystem centered around dual 12.3-inch displays arranged in an innovative wave-like configuration. Nissan has made wireless device charging standard across all trim levels, complementing other standard features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a head-up display, and a Virtual Personal Assistant.
Safety and convenience features include Nissan’s ProPilot Assist with Navi-link as standard equipment, with select grades offering ProPILOT Assist 2.0 for hands-off highway driving capabilities. Notably, the Ariya model earned it notable recognition, including the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK designation. Additionally, its innovative e-4ORCE system was honored on the Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems list for 2023.
Nissan offers the 2025 Ariya in six distinct trim levels, ranging from the entry-level Engage FWD at $39,770 to the fully-equipped Platinum+ e-4ORCE at $54,370, with a destination fee of $1,390 applicable to all models. The comprehensive lineup includes options with both battery sizes and drive configurations, allowing customers to select the version that best matches their driving requirements and budget.
In addition, to simplify the transition to EV ownership, Nissan includes the Ariya in its EV Carefree+ customer care initiative. This program provides comprehensive support and features integration with the MyNISSAN app, allowing owners to easily locate charging stations, monitor charging status, and process payments.
Moreover, Nissan has significantly expanded its charging infrastructure through the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network (NECN). This expansion gives Ariya drivers access to more than 100,000 public charging stations, including 17,800 Tesla Superchargers.
To facilitate this integration with Tesla’s network, Nissan offers a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter kit for $235, available through dealerships and online. Looking forward, Nissan plans to streamline this process further by incorporating NACS ports as standard equipment in its 2025 models for both U.S. and Canadian markets.
With the 2025 Ariya, Nissan is positioning itself as a strong contender by offering a versatile, well-priced, and feature-rich option for drivers. From notable performance and technology to an expanded charging network and customer care support, the Ariya sets a solid standard for what EVs can offer.
