Nissan is making its latest electric vehicle (EV) more attractive to potential buyers with compelling incentives for the 2025 Ariya model. To start off the new year, the 2025 Ariya model will add a loyalty discount to entice potential buyers.

In terms of the newly announced incentive, Nissan has released a $1,000 loyalty discount for existing Nissan and Infiniti owners, available on both purchases and leases through January 6, 2025.

The 2025 Ariya, which starts at $39,770, comes with several notable upgrades, including a standard wireless charging pad and Nissan’s Advanced Drive-Assist display system. The electric SUV features dual 12.3-inch screens arranged in a distinctive wave-like design, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a head-up display, and a Virtual Personal Assistant.

For buyers considering financing options, Nissan is offering the same competitive rates as its Leaf EV: 2.19% APR for 36 months or 3.19% for 60 months. Lease options are also attractive, with money factors as low as 0.00249 on 24-month terms for select trim levels, equivalent to 0% APR.

Battery Options and Performance

The Ariya arrives in two battery configurations: a 66 kWh option delivering up to 216 miles of range, and a larger 91 kWh battery delivering an EPA-estimated 289 miles. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive (FWD) and Nissan’s e4ORCE all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, with dual-motor models generating exceptional performance figures of up to 389 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.

Moreover, Nissan has brought a significant enhancement to its charging network. In detail, the company has expanded access to over 100,000 public charging stations, including 17,800 Tesla Superchargers, addressing a crucial concern for potential EV buyers.

Navigating Competition in the EV Market

However, the Ariya faces rigid competition in an increasingly crowded electric SUV market. With competitors such as the 2025 Toyota bZ4X, Subaru Solterra, and Ford Mustang Mach-E all offering lower starting prices, the Ariya model will have to navigate through this market starting with addressing challenges with its direct competitors.

With automakers adjusting prices and introducing incentives to remain competitive, Nissan’s latest promotional offerings for the Ariya through the combination of its technological updates and expanded charging network access aims to position it as a compelling option in the mid-range electric SUV segment.
